

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tolbert Moore, Rev. Mike Maxwell, and Dr. Kenneth R. McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park with Woodstock Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 2-9 P.M. Frida, February 14, 2013 at Woodstock Funeral Home.
Mr. Lutz was born February 10, 1963 in Marietta, GA. to James M. Lutz Jr. and Susan Lee Myers Lutz. Mr. Lutz was a 1981 graduate of Etowah High School. He later joined the U.S. Army and was a member of the 82nd Airborne. Mr. Lutz was later employed in the transportation industry and was employed with Atlanta Foods, Millis Trucking Company, Wisconsin and recently co-owner of Service Truck Brokers.
Mr. Lutz attended Shiloh Hills Baptist Church and was currently a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Etowah Take down Club and Team Georgia Wrestling. Mr. Lutz received many special achievements awards for his service to Georgia Wrestling: Right-Hand Man Award, Troy Elliot Memorial- Volunteer of the Year Award, and Etowah Takedown Club Appreciation Award.
Survivors include his wife, Gwen Lutz; two sons, James D. Lutz, Jr. (Jessica), Jeremiah D. Lutz; one daughter, Amanda E. Lutz; his mother, Susan Lutz; two brothers, Michael Lutz (Lisa), and Peter Lutz; one sister, Leslie Horton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Frances McFate; two brother-in-law, Gueary McFate, and Gregg McFate (Candice); sister-in-law, Ginger Vadasy (Kirk); 10 Nieces and Nephews.
