James Michael McCullough

James Michael McCullough, aged 90, passed away on December 9, 2025. Born on August 18, 1935, James was known for his intelligence and his dedication to his family. Throughout his life, he was actively involved in his community, serving as a little league coach, a boy scout leader, and a girls' softball coach. His professional life was spent as a salesman.

James was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and he found joy in fishing, bowling, and watching game shows. He loved to laugh, tell jokes, and play cards, always bringing a sense of joy to those around him. Known for his vast knowledge on a variety of topics, James was someone who knew a little about everything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys McCullough, his beloved wife Prudence McCullough, and his son Patrick McCullough.

He is survived by his sons, James McCullough and Frank McCullough; his daughters, Joann Sadowski (Paul), and Mary Jo Treccia (Mark); his brother Michael McCullough (Margaret); Maxine Riley, Mary Anne Workowski, and Maureen Fremgan.

James leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren: Joseph Lippitt, Jamie Cash (Joshua), Heather Greg (Tyler), Mark Treccia, Elena Pope (Benjamin), Crissy Treccia, John McCullough (Ginger), Cassie Jones (Jessie), Virginia McCullough, Lisa Merrick, and James McCullough. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Joseph Treccia, Taylor Sadowski, Peyton Cash, Tatum Cash, Teagan Pope, Elika Gregg, Madison Pope, Max Jones, Harper McCullough, Katelyn Treccia, Penny Treccia, Charlotte McDaniels, Henry McDaniels, Rayna Merrick, Hudson Merrick, Emma Merrick, and Edison Merrick.

Visitation will be held at Woodstock Funeral Home, located at 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 490 Arnold Mill Rd, Woodstock, GA 30188, on Friday December 12, 2025, at 11:00 am.

James Michael McCullough will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his passion for sports, and his ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him.
