Jean H. Bennett

She was born in Kenly, North Carolina on August 7th 1935. Mrs Bennett was preceded in death by her parents, Maude Helen Hinton Hare and Joseph Edgar Hare, from Kenly, North Carolina and her brother Billy Ray Hare of Wendell, North Carolina. She was married for 48 years to the late Ben Ashton Bennett. She is survived by her two sons Taylor Bennett from Woodstock, Georgia and Ashton Bennett from White, Georgia, nephew Al Hare and his son Wes, from Raleigh, North Carolina. Cousins, Wanda Daughtry and Phyllis Renfrow of Kenly, North Carolina, her very closely-held friends, Donna Taylor, Dusti Anderson, Joan Crawford, Laura Esposito, Mary Bennett, Jeremy Bennett, Casey Bennett and children, loving and caring neighbors, Ron and Debra Wright and family, Katherine Freeman and family, and many others also survive. Jean was a magnificent homemaker, extraordinary mother and devoted wife. She loved the holidays and spending time with her friends and family. Celebration Of Life will be held at Woodstock Funeral home on Tuesday, October 10th from 11am-2pm.

An informal, relaxed, and joyous visitation will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM. Lunch will be served from 11:00am - 1:00pm during visitation. Casual attire is encouraged.
