Jennifer Reed

Jennifer Andrews Reed was born on September 13, 1952, in Houston, Texas. During her early years, she lived in Germany, Michigan, and Paris, Texas, before settling in Fort Worth, Texas—a place she fondly considered her hometown. She graduated from Paschal High School in 1970 and later attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. It was there she met the love of her life, Don Reed of Houston, whom she married in 1971.

Jennifer and Don made their home in Houston for 17 years before relocating to Acworth, Georgia, where they continued building a life filled with love, family, and community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara Andrews (née Nicholson) and Robert P. Andrews. She is survived by her devoted husband, Don Reed of Acworth; her daughter, Melissa Reed of Marietta, Georgia; her son, Donald T. Reed Jr. of Acworth; and her brother, Darryl Andrews of Cleburne, Texas.

Jennifer will be dearly missed by all who knew her, including her many cherished fellows from HOW Place in Acworth. Her kindness, warmth, and resilient spirit touched countless lives and will be remembered with love.

A memorial service for Jennifer will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc., 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188.
