Kathleen Marjorie Grace Weldon

Kathleen Marjorie Grace Weldon, age 53, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022.

Kathleen was born to the late John Merritt Weldon and the late Sandra Bernadette Mullen Weldon in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 18, 1968. She grew up with her two sisters playing on the sandy beaches and barefoot out in the yard with their rescued Old English sheepdog, Aquarius.

Kathleen found joy in simplicity; she was very thoughtful, giving and loving. Kathleen was the type of person that if you met her, you couldn't help but love her. She had an amazing memory knowing birthdates and the next date and time of her next get togethers. She was loyal to her family and friends and had an affinity for children and animals.

Kathleen led a full and independent life alongside her second family at Victory Village. She could be found dancing and singing - often making even better lyrics than the original artists. She spent time coloring, drawing, bowling and like all ladies, she loved to shop!

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sandra Weldon, and grandparents, Arthur and Marjorie Weldon and Stephen and Elizabeth Mullen.

Her memory will be cherished by her sisters, Molly Chelena (Victor) and Heather Gottmeier (William); nieces, Chloe Roach (Andy), Kayla Barnard (Jacob) and Brooke Gottmeier; nephew, Will Gottmeier; great niece, Juniper Roach; great nephew, Bryce Barnard; surrogate grandmother, Gigi; many uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family members; her second family at Victory Village; and the caring canines of Victory Village.

A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 11, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 490 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, GA 30188.
