Larry Eugene Ritchie

Larry Eugene Ritchie, born on February 28, 1937, passed away on August 10, 2013. Larry was born in Marietta, Ohio and has been a resident of Woodstock, Georgia since 1978. Larry served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant for 23 years and in 1999, Larry retired form Lockheed Martin as the Head Director of Security. Larry was the oldest of 12 siblings and in his spare time, he loved to fish and play his guitar. Many will remember Larry as one who could fix computers regardless of how big the challenge may have been. Friends in the community will remember Larry as a 32nd Degree Mason and having a heart of gold and always available when a friend or stranger was in need. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife, Marsha, his four children, Kristen Smith of Cartersville, GA, Kim Brinson of Cleo Springs, OK, Kevin Ritchie of Fountain, CO, Keith Ritchie of Canton, GA, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 13, from 12 noon until 9PM at Woodstock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14, at 12 noon in the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place with Honors at Georgia National Cemetery at 2 PM.
