Lloyd Alan Marchbanks

He was born on December 19,1943, in Porterdale, Georgia, to the late Alan and Corinne Marchbanks. Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 22 years. Following his military service, he worked in security at the CDC, where he was known for his dedication and reliability.

Lloyd had a deep love for his family. He shared a special bond with the love of his life, Trudy. He also had a passion for photography and found great joy in nature. Lloyd was especially fond of his dogs, who remained faithfully by his side until the end.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Trudy Messmer; his daughters, Misty (Patrick) Pearson, Aimee (Michael) Geraci, and Mary (Christopher) Arno; his stepsons, Bryan Ristow and Eric (Kimberly) Ristow; and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, April 18, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia. Military honors will be held at 2:00 PM, with food and fellowship continuing afterward.

Lloyd will be remembered for his devotion to family, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with those around him.
