Lynn Merwin, a cherished and kind-hearted soul, passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 50. Born on October 29, 1975 in Marietta, Lynn was a longtime resident of Woodstock, Georgia, where she built a life rooted in love, devotion, and family.
Lynn is survived by her devoted husband, John Merwin, and her beloved children: daughter Eva Bryant Vega (Sam), and sons Zak Merwin and Joe Merwin (Sydney). She is also survived by her father, Michael Bagwell (Tracy); her sister, Melinda Huff; and her brother, Benjamin Fincher. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Fincher (Ben).
Lynn found joy in many passions, including arts and crafts, scrapbooking, singing, reading, and traveling, especially Hawaii, her favorite place. Above all else, Lynn loved her family fiercely. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spunk touched everyone who knew her.
Lynn’s presence will be deeply missed, but her love and memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Woodstock Funeral Home, located at 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Lynn will be laid to rest at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens at a later date.
