Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Monday January 30, 2012 at Dawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Decatur, GA., with Rev. Doug Coil officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home today. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Witek was born July 15, 1923 in Atlanta, GA., to the late Edgar Niles and Cornine Nell Macaulay. Mrs. Witek worked as a key punch operator with the Southern Company for 15 years. Mrs. Witek was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock.
Mrs. Witek was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Joseph Witek, Sr. and a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include two daughters; Elaine and Jerry Ellner, Manchester, New Hampshire, Shirley and Jeff Drummond, White, GA; two sons, Joseph, Jr. (Ed) and Shelley, Snellville, GA., Gene Witek, Woodstock, GA; one brother, Jack Macaulay, Ellijay, GA., nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
