Patricia Elaine Mercer

Patricia was born in Cartersville, Georgia to Clarence and Ora Lee Blackmon. She dedicated her life to caring for and supporting those she loved. She was a constant source of warmth, strength, and unwavering love. She had a special love for flowers, finding beauty and peace within them. Her generosity knew no bounds. She never turned away anyone in need, always offering what she could with a selfless heart. Her compassion and kindness created a lasting impact that will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ora Lee Blackmon, her husband, Charles Mercer, brothers: Mack Blackmon Roy Blackmon, Benny Blackmon, Martin Blackmon and one sister, Carla Attaway.

She is survived by her daughters Beverly Roberts and her husband Kenny, of Canton and Amber Lowe of Acworth; son Greg Mercer and his wife Melissa, of Kennesaw; nine grandchildren: Kayla Mercer, Brandon Mercer, Matthew Mercer, Trey Shayhorn, Hunter Roberts, Savannah Roberts-Freijo (Luke) Victoria Lowe, Jacob Lowe, Gracie Lowe; three great grandchildren: Noah Mercer. Adelynn Mercer, Carson Mercer, and Elena Freijo (namesake) and her siblings Linda Miller (Kyle), Phillip Blackman, Ray Raab, and Faye Fortenberry.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, immediately following visitation, at Woodstock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, 4355 GA-92, Acworth, GA 30102
