Robert Lindner

Rob always lit up the room and kept people laughing with his unique sense of humor. Rob’s love for Tennessee ran deep and joyful. Saturdays were for the Vols, for orange pride, and for the familiar comfort of Rocky Top echoing through the house.

He built a long lasting legacy of kindness & empathy within families, churches, communities, dog rescues, and even businesses.

Rob is survived by his devoted husband, Trevor Petty, the love of his life and partner in all things; and by his beloved chihuahua, Gino Bambino, who rarely left his side and brought him daily joy. He is also survived by his mother, Sheena Diana Veal Lindner; his father, Gary E. Lindner; his brother, Damon Lindner; his sister-in-law, Dara Lindner; his cherished niece, Devon Lindner; his dear grandmother, Sue Veal Keener; and his uncle, Andre Veal.

In addition to his immediate family, Robert leaves behind his family-in-law of 28 years, and countless friends and loved ones who have each experienced a true bond with Rob that will transcend space and time. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
