Shannon Lawrence

Shannon Lawrence, age 25, of Canton, GA passed away June 5, 2011. Shannon is survived by children Emma Catherine and Peter Anthony, 4 loving parents, Randy and Karen Lawrence and Diana and Dennis Macksey, brothers Justin Lawrence, Brian Lawrence, Joshua Leonard, Jared Leonard and Will Macksey, sisters, Jana Kellogg, Jessica Eno, Stephanie Samuelson, Megan Macksey, and Elizabeth Macksey, grandparents, Ronald and Joan Canterbury. She is also survived by her patient and significant love Eric Doyle and more than 80 aunts, uncles and cousins. Shannon was a graduate of Sequoyah High School and was currently a nursing student at Kennesaw State University. Shannon was a lifetime member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock and had also dedicated a year of her life to mission work for her faith. Shannon is remembered as having amazing love for her family and friends. She drew out the best in everyone. We all are better for having known her. A funeral mass will be held Friday, June 10,2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Father Larry Niese officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 4 until 9 PM at the funeral home.
