Shirley Jean Cross Alexander Clifton was taken suddenly from us on August 26, 2016, while vacationing in the Smoky Mountains with her husband Richard. She was born April 14, 1952 in Hudson, NY to the late Revis and Penelope Cross. She was a teacher, an adventurer in life, and a lover of animals. She leaves behind, her loving husband, Dick; sons Troy Alexander (Eduardo Carrero) and Trevor Alexander (Jane McFarland); and her siblings Don Cross (Dee) and Judy Adelle Cross Hutchins.
Services are Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Woodstock Funeral Home, Woodstock, GA, with Visitation prior to the service starting at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Nature Conservancy at Nature.org or register for CPR training for you and/or loved ones.
