Mrs. Teresa L. Oswood, 68, of Woodstock, GA passed away September 24, 2017. Teresa was born on November 27, 1948 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Eugene and Mary Banta. She attended North Vernon High School in North Vernon, IN and graduated from Waverly High School. Teresa loved to travel in her family’s motor home and was a member of the Peach State Travelers. She also enjoyed playing Bunko with her neighborhood friends, was very outgoing and easily made friends. Teresa was a loving wife, mother and doting grandmother. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Teresa leaves behind her husband of 21 years, Eric R. Oswood; daughter, Stacey Sigman; grandchildren, Summer and Sierra Sigman; sisters, Gina Fankhouser and Connie Smith; brother, Troy Banta; and faithful companion and dog, Rosco. A funeral service will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6-8pm.
