Thomas Joseph Belisle

Thomas “Tom” Joseph Belisle, 56, of Woodstock, GA passed away at home on January 15, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born on October 13, 1961 to the late Jane and Donald Belisle in Columbus, Ohio. He grew up in Mount Air, Ohio where he made life-long friends and will forever be a member of the “gang”. Tom had a passion for music and loved to jam with other musicians. He was also an enthusiastic Ohio State Football fan. Tom owned Bel-Isle Renovations. He was an entrepreneur, general contractor and gifted master carpenter. He was committed to quality and was as dedicated to his clients as they were to him. He was devoted to his family and friends. Tom was a faithful and loving husband and father. He will be deeply missed by the many people he touched. He leaves behind his best friend and soul mate, Melinda, wife of 24 years; son, Jack Belisle; daughter, Zoe Belisle; brothers, Donnie (Joan) Belisle, Mike (Brenda) Belisle, Mark (Lisa) Belisle, Pat Belisle, Bob (Karen) Belisle, Bill (Kim) Belisle; and sisters, Leslie (John) Murphy, BJ Belisle, and Liz (Tom Heinmiller) Whisler; brothers in-law, Dan (Vicki) Kincaid and Mike Kincaid; sister in-law, Marty Kincaid; 20 nieces and nephews; and 22 great nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 20th at 2:00pm at Woodstock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00pm. There will also be a celebration of Tom’s life on Sunday, January 21st at 5:00pm in the Banquet Room at the Paradise Grille, 3605 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta. There will be an additional memorial celebration for family and friends in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, February 17th at 2:00pm at Spuds Bar & Grill. In lieu of flowers, an education account will be established for Tom and Melinda’s children, Jack and Zoe. Until finalized, donations may be made directly to Melinda Belisle.
