Timothy Alvah Bennett

Mr. Bennett was born in Homer, GA on August 21st, 1954, son of Frank Gartrell Bennett and Velma Sue Bennett of Homer, GA. He was a loving father and a devoted husband and grandfather. Tim worked at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA for over 20 years and enjoyed spending time on the lake in Jackson, GA. He was surrounded by family and will be forever in the hearts of those who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Bennett of Woodstock, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Donovan and E.V. Bennett of Marietta, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Carly Bennett of Woodstock, GA; brother, Kenneth Bennett of Homer, GA; sister, Fran Bennett of Gainesville, GA; Helen Davis of Lexington, VA and four grandchildren; Pierce Bennett, Lauren Fuentes, Skylar Fuentes, and Hunter Humble.

Funeral services for Mr. Bennett will be at 2 P.M., Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at the Woodstock Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Crowe officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-2 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
