After a hard fought battle with leukemia for nearly four years and the unfortunate contraction of COVID-19, he was able to be laid to rest and join the Lord- no longer in suffering.
Tim was born on September 1, 1959, to Texas and Nancy Henderson in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He then moved to various locations throughout the Southeast and spent a brief time in Germany before finally settling in metro Atlanta where he graduated from Tucker High School.
He would go on to marry the love of his life, Dianne, in August 1986. The early years were filled with memorable trips to the beach and mountains with both family and friends. Tim and Dianne moved to Dacula in 1995 to raise their family and become involved members of the community. Tim displayed his unmatched generosity by becoming a youth group leader, coach and neighbor in their growing city. He practiced his faith consistently every weekend. Once on Sunday for his love of the Lord and once on Saturday for his love of Georgia Football.
Tim is survived by his soulmate and wife, Dianne Henderson, his beloved son, Tommy Henderson, daughter-in-law, McKenna Henderson, treasured son, Tyler Henderson, his father, Texas Henderson, his sister, Maxine Miller. He was preceded by his mother, Nancy Henderson.
