Vicki Broderson (Alter), age 55, of Canton, GA passed away May 19, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Vicki was an educator in the Cherokee County School System, teaching for many years at Arnold Mill Elementary School.
Vicki was the loving mother of two sons, James R. Alter and Daniel C. Alter both of Canton. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Sara Alter of Canton, parents, Nancy and Cliff Broderson of Alpena, MI, sister Judy Huyck of Grand Rapids, MI, brothers, Terry Broderson of Atlanta and Aric Broderson of VA and her beloved dog, Hershey.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Tim Smith officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
