Bill was a devoted family man who deeply loved those around him. He was known for his gift of storytelling—often colorful and sometimes a bit embellished—which brought laughter and joy to family and friends. A true adventurer at heart, he traveled extensively, visiting five continents and more than 30 countries. He also enjoyed bowling, hiking, and spending time in the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Liz Kenney; and his son, Shaun Kenney.
Bill is survived by his son, Robert Kenney; his seven grandchildren, Casey, Jason, Jake, Skyler, Sawyer, Jesse, and Ansley; and his two great-grandchildren, Willow and Edwin. He is also survived by his siblings, Marlene Kenney and her husband, Mel Towner; Bob Kenney and his wife, Marinela; Joe Kenney; and Dan Kenney and his wife, Marita Murphy.
A funeral mass be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 850 Douthit Ferry Rd, Cartersville, Georgia.
