

Anne Bosworth Parsons Blaisdell, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. Anne was born in 1935 in Amherst, Massachusetts, and married John Blaisdell in 1955. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Microbiology at The Ohio State University. Anne served as the supervisor of the Reagent Laboratory Store at The Ohio State University.
She was an active member of North Congregational Church in Columbus, serving as a deacon, and for the past two decades, she worshipped with the Westerville Community United Church of Christ. Anne expressed her generosity through crafting—knitting, crochet, and sewing countless items for charitable causes. Anne welcomed all with her motto “There’s always room for one more.”
She is survived by her brother Sidney Parsons; her children Jean, Rebecca, Philip, Howard, and Stephen; her grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Edward and Donald.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. at Westerville Community United Church of Christ, 770 County Line Road, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
