Carol Shyrigh

Carol J. Shyrigh, age 75, passed away at her home surrounded by family, Friday, March 25, 2023. She was born September 10, 1947, in Findlay, Ohio to the late Herman and Marjorie Klausing. Carol is survived by daughters; Tiffany (Marc) Greco and Lisa (Jason) Roberts, grandchildren; Gianna Greco, Rory and Rhys Roberts, 5 living siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, along with other dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, loving husband of 50 years, Roger Shyrigh, and brother, Jim Klausing. Carol grew up in Findlay and after high school attended St. Rita’s Nursing School in Lima, graduating in 1968. She worked as a nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital for the entirety of her career. Carol was a devoted Catholic and parishioner at St. Anthony. She was an active member of the Columbus Chapter of Sweet Adelines International for over 45 years. Family will receive friends Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 3-7PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 6699 N High St, with a funeral Mass the following day, April 3, 2023, at St Anthony Catholic Church at 10AM, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
