

Daniel Charles Feeney, 72, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away on March 27, 2025. He was born on February 25, 1953, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Francis and Clara (Skip) Feeney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Feeney; his first wife, Elizabeth "Betsie" (Kearney) Feeney; and his sister-in-law, Pam Feeney.
A proud graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School and Wilmington College, where he was a four-year letterman, Dan cherished his time as both a student and athlete. He was also a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Westerville.
Dan was an avid sports fan, with a particular love for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a passion for trains, being a dedicated collector. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, particularly attending the sporting events of his grandchildren, where his enthusiasm and support were always evident.
Dan is survived by his wife, Connie (Bitz) Feeney; children, Sean Feeney and Erin (Jared Savre) Feeney; grandchildren, Breanna, Brooke, Geneva, Nolan, and Milo; his brother, Mike Feeney; sister-in-law, Carole Feeney; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Charlotte) Kearney and Albert (Sandy) Kearney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm at Schoedinger Worthington on Tuesday, April 1. Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church at 10:30am on Wednesday, April 2.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ALS United Ohio in Dan’s memory.
