David Ferman Moore

David Ferman Moore's love of life didn't come to an end when he gained his angel wings. Dave passed away on February 21, 2022 at the age of 63 after a courageous hard fought battle against heart and lung disease surrounded by his wife Lora Moore and daughter Linzi Moore. We will continue to love, honor and cherish his life by continuing to live our lives to the fullest as he would want.

Dave graduated from Columbus North High School (Go Polar Bears!). He completed two degrees in business from Columbus State and Franklin University. He held many positions as an insurance underwriter and had recently been working as a business analyst at CGI.

One of Dave's best qualities was his extreme loyalty. David was a loyal and avid fan of OSU football, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns, Louis Lamour books, and craft beer. The thing he loved and held most dear was his family and his faith. He spoke with pride about his parents, siblings, close extended family, and growing up in Columbus, OH. He was incredibly supportive and loving to his wife, Lora, and daughter, Linzi.

Dave is survived by his wife Lora Moore; daughter, Linzi Moore; siblings and their families: Patty (Richard) Cavener, Teresa (Doug) Cavener, Debbie (Jim) Mayhugh, Mark (Tim) Moore-Mills, Chris (Cathy) Moore, Jerry (Nancy) Heskett; in-laws: Cindy (Jeff) Mueller, Donna Clark; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is reunited with his parents Herbert and Roberta Moore; niece Erin Cavener; in-laws Stephen and Yvonne Cline; and brother-in-law Phil Clark.

Funeral services will be held on February 26th at Schoedinger Funeral Home (6699 North High Street Worthington, OH 43085) at 2pm. The service will be for close family and friends only at this time. Masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Ohio State Richard M Ross Heart Hospital in memory of David F Moore.
