David relished his family time. He and Marcie attended as many extracurricular events as possible for their children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed long road trips in the family RV, camping, boating, and gathering for any special occasions. He particularly enjoyed family holidays where he was surrounded by love and laughter. His euchre game was legendary.
He was an avid learner of all things mechanical. He was the one who could read a manual and simply repair whatever needed fixed. Affectionately called the “gadget guy”, he frequently researched all the newest technologies and put them to good use. He carried that passion of learning into his later years, where he could be found watching instructional videos on any novel items. David will be greatly remembered for his robust sense of humor and love for his fellow man. He was always quick to laugh and joke, as well to extend caring concern for everyone he knew.
His smile was contagious and “dad jokes” will always be fondly remembered. The pain of his absence is only eclipsed by his 80 years of fond memories for everyone who knew him.
