Diane A Democko

Diane Democko, 81, of Powell, past away on April 29, 2024. She was born in Youngstown Ohio, to the late Raymond and Thelma (Knight) Anderson. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her siblings, Martha Garman and Raymond Anderson; husband, Ronald Democko; and her Daughter, Sharon Padilla.

She was a 1960 graduate of Struthers High School in Struthers Ohio and later attended cosmetology school. It was during her time in high school that she met her high school sweetheart and ended up marrying Ronald in 1961. Her greatest joys in life were taking care of her family as a homemaker. She attended all of her childrens and grandchildrens school activities. She was an avid baker and loved to sew. Diane was a very artistic person having been a very talented painter and enjoyed coloring in adult coloring books as well as puzzling with all of her friends at StoryPoint North Assisted Living in Powell. Her family will miss her loud laughter, humor, and her compassion to love others.

Diane will be greatly missed by her children, Nancy (Wayne) Inman, Jennifer (Michael) Reese, Crissy (Dan) Fleet; grandchildren, Diana, Nick, Joe, Alexis, Ashley, Brittany, Mike, Erik, Jake, Olivia, and Luke; 11 great-grandchildren; many friends from StoryPoint where she enjoyed the camaraderie and social activities; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and a special four legged friend, Buckeye.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, from 12pm until 1pm where a Sharing of Memories will be held at 1pm, at the Schoedinger Worthington funeral home, 6699 North High St., Worthington OH, 43085.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s name may be made to a cat rescue of your choice.
