Esther Klemme Lime Schmitt passed away on July 26, 2022 in Dublin, Ohio. Born August 10, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, her parents were Reverend Huber Klemme and Miriam Blanchard Klemme. A resident of Cleveland, Ohio during her childhood, she lived in Strongsville, Ohio for many years before retiring to The Villages, Florida nearly twenty years ago.
Esther was predeceased by her husband, Edward Schmitt. Survivors include sons Ronald Lime Jr. (Debbie) of Columbus, Ohio and Jonathan Lime (Katherine) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughter Jennifer Zedeker (Rob) of Worthington, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Colin and Aron Lime; Emily, Sarah, and David Lime; Emma and Owen Zedeker; and her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Olivia.
Esther was a graduate of West Technical High School in Cleveland and earned a bachelor of arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
Her interests included golf, pottery, reading, and current events. She was a long-time member of Columbia Hills Country Club and in recent years she belonged to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Dog Club of The Villages.
