Germaine Lee Miller, beloved teacher, mother and wife passed away on Friday September 5th at 9:48pm. Born on October 3rd, 1935 to Charles and Martha Trustdorf of Dover, OH. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Miller.
She is survived by son Doug, daughter Diane Kendall (John), Granddaughter Danielle Andrews (Devin), Grandson Jake Kendall (Sarah), Brother Mike Trustdorf (Paula) niece Laura Juda (Mark) niece Angie Trustdorf Brazell grand nieces Mikaela and Hannah Juda, grand nephew Dash Brazell.
She lived a full and active life. She had a passion for teaching and loved her church and community. She was active in both and made friends wherever she went.
While at Sullivant Elementary teaching kindergarten she was elected teacher of the year for the 1993/94 school year. She also had won many awards for her work at McDonalds and involvement in the Moose lodge. She was a member of the Worthington United Methodist church and did a lot of volunteer work. She loved crocheting and donated dozens of lap blankets to local nursing homes.
A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday September 10th at Schoedinger of Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Columbus humane society.
