Grant Russell Ferree, Jr., age 80, passed away October 15, 2023 in Columbus, OH surrounded with care. Grant was born December 20, 1942, Western Ohio to the late Grant, Sr., and Martha Wooddell Ferree. Grant was also preceded in death by younger brothers Brent, Larry, and Keith. He attended Cincinnati Colerain high school where he was in the marching band.
After graduation, he enrolled at UC and transferred to Ohio State. At a college mixer, Grant and future nurse Linda met. They married in 1963 and were loving parents to Tim (Kathy) Ferree and Kris (Troy) Blevins and five special grandkids (Sean, Maddie, Michael, Dani, and J.R.). Relatives include nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Joyce (Cecil) Fields.
Grant was employed at EDS, Swan, Comtrac, and Borden as a programmer. He was a little league coach and avid Buckeye fan.
