Kelly B Ullman

Kelly Bates Ullman, age 61, passed away April 14th, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. Kelly was born in Sacramento, California to Toni Reed and Ralph Bates. She earned her Bachelor's in Communication from The Ohio State University and her Master's in Counseling and Art History from Ursuline College. Kelly was a member of NA; she was clean for over 44 years and was an Art Therapist. Kelly enjoyed movies, reading, making art, traveling, camping, and spending time with her family.

Loved ones knew her as passionate and driven, a pillar in her community, and someone who always wanted to help those in need. She will be remembered for her contagious joy and laugh, her courage to try new things, and her unending love for her family and friends.

Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Jon, her three children Max, Grayson, and Drew Ullman, her father Ralph (Carol) Bates , her mother, Toni Reed, a brother, Christopher Bates, two black cats, and a plethora of beloved friends.

Visitation will be held at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, US, on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service at a location and time to be determined at a later date. Please continue to visit this site as Services are scheduled. When you arrive to the services for Kelly, please come dressed in bright colors in remembrance of the bright life she lived.
