Linda King, age 71, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2022. Linda was born on February 5, 1951 in Delaware, Ohio. She is predeceased by her parents, Edgar C. Harrison and Dorothy E. Harrison as well as her brother, Roland (Bus) Harrison. She is survived by her husband Richard (Woody) King, sister Shirley (Al) McCormick of Chandler, Arizona, brother Roger (Barbara) Harrison of Worthington, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda enjoyed a long career in marketing with firms in Columbus, Ohio and Los Angeles, CA before returning to Columbus to start her own business, Destination Management. As a senior at Rutherford B. Hayes High School, Linda co-hosted "Dance Party" on WCMH NBC 4, a local tv show modeled after the nationally broadcast show "American Bandstand". She enjoyed basketball and traveling.
People are welcome to attend the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 followed by interment at Kingwood Memorial Park.
