Mark William Schuh, U.S. Air Force Veteran, age 64, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born July 9, 1959, in Parma, Ohio and raised in Berea, Ohio by the late Kenneth Schuh and Sally (Schuh) Novak.
Mark was known as many things; he was a husband, father, grandfather, sibling, uncle and friend, but something everyone who knew him would agree on, is that he was unapologetically himself.
Mark’s number one love was his family. He would often be found in his “white chair” on the sidelines of baseball, football, hockey, soccer lacrosse, track, taekwondo, swimming, gymnastics and horse shows; as his greatest joy in life was supporting his children and grandchildren. If not at a sporting event, Mark was on the golf course at any chance he could get or watching his favorite Cleveland sports teams.
His service in the Air Force gave him the foundation to develop his own successful flooring company, FloorMark. His hard work and dedication included rolling up his own sleeves to help get a job done. His business relationships fostered his success as everyone he worked with was treated as an extension of his family.
Mark loved to travel. He and Carol seized the opportunity whenever they could. Whether it was lounging on the beach, swinging on a porch or sitting around a fire in the woods; they loved their many opportunities to explore the world together.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Carol Osborne-Schuh, daughters; Nicole (Brad) Sprouse, Gina (Dustin) Aiello-Schuh, Madelynn Butler, son, Ken (Rae) Schuh and stepdaughter, Tara (Brooks) Zaremski, grandchildren; Braden and Audrey Sprouse, Genevieve Olsen, Dalton Butler, Waylon, Beau, and Cal Schuh, Harper and Greyson Zaremski; siblings; Shirley (Darius) Akita, Michael (Ann) Schuh and Kathy (Tom) Koch; along with other dear family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, brother, Howard Schuh, stepson, Rob Osborne and their beloved dog, Ellie.
For memorial contributions, the family requests donations to the charities that Mark supported, the Wounded Warrior Project and Tunnel to Towers Foundation. support.woundedwarriorproject.org
