

Rosie Boggs, 92, of Columbus, passed away on November 4, 2023. Rosie was born on July 23, 1931, in Columbus, to the late Samual and Sara (Palumbo) Fasone. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Damon “Knobby” Boggs; daughter, Lisa Marie Langford; siblings, Salvatore (Shirley) Fasone, Samuel (Mildred) Fasone, Agustine “Gus” (Beverly) Fasone, Henry (Ellen) Fasone, Angeline (Gerald) Goodrich, Margaret (Michael) Albanese, Josephine (Thomas) Beachman; brother-in-law, Alvan Frey.
Rosie graduated from St. Agustus High School in Columbus and would go on to work for Sears Northland as a retail associate.
Outside of work, Rosie was a devoted wife and a wonderful loving person. She had a strong faith in God and was a devout catholic and a member of St. James Parish. Rosie would light up the room when she came in and was a compassionate and caring person.
Rosie loved country music and working in the yard and her garden. She was an avid Ohio State fan and enjoyed to watch them in various sports. Above all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, she was very involved with the Columbus Northeast Lions Club and Special Olympics and many other charitable causes.
Rosie will be greatly missed by her children, Arthur (Lisa Gallicchio) Higgins, Jeffrey Higgins; son-in-law, Bill Langford; daughter-in-laws, Patricia Stone Shirley Creager, Pamela Reed, and Diane Burroughs; grandchildren, Zac Higgins, Ashley (David) Willman, Catie Higgins, Jennifer (Darin) Lee, and Mary Higgins; siblings, Theresa Frey, and Joe Fasone; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and close family friends.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 11am until 1pm, at the Schoedinger Worthington funeral home, 6699 North High St., Worthington OH, 43085. A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm.
