Sheila K. Eslinger, 76, passed away on April 28, 2026, surrounded by love. After a long and difficult journey, she is now at peace. Life was not always easy for Sheila, and she carried more than her share of hardship. Yet through it all, she endured in her own way, showing a resilient strength that remained with her to the very end. Sheila had a wicked sense of humor, and her quick wit was unmatched, often making those around her laugh and blush at the same time. Though she could be stubborn, she was also a fierce advocate for those she loved and would go to great lengths to ease the pain of anyone in her care. She found joy in reminiscing about farm life, spending hours in the woods, teaching her sons to hunt, and searching for mushrooms each spring. In recent years, she took pride in tending to the flowers and vegetables she grew on the patio. Sheila believed deeply in the power of love for family and friends. Her final message to those who cared for her was simple and lasting: “I leave this world loving you.”
She will be remembered as a devoted mother and friend, and for the humor, strength, and care she shared with those around her. Sheila is survived by her sons, James Calvin and Thomas Charles; her son-in-law, Roland Sintos Coloma; her grandchildren, Rylee Hansen and Reagan Eslinger, who brought her great joy; her sister, Tommi Bundrant; and her nephew, Michael Schoncheck.
