Teresa Denise Mazeika

Teresa Denise Mazeika (Hafey) 75, of Worthington, passed away on March 29, 2023. She was born on June 9, 1947, to the late Joseph and Gabrielle Hafey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Josette Andrikanich.

Teresa graduated from Collinwood High School in 1965. She married her high school sweetheart in 1966, and they traveled to several states across the US during Michael’s time in the Air Force.

They settled back in Cleveland and had a daughter in 1969. In 1973, they completed their family with a son. In 1979, they moved to Worthington, Ohio.

Terry held many job positions throughout her life, the most recent as an HR assistant at Mettler-Toledo. She retired from Mettler in 2018.

After retirement, Terry spent most of her time involved with her adult children and grandchildren. She could be found cheering on the sidelines of all of their sporting events. She rarely missed an event. One of her favorite family traditions was hosting family dinners every Sunday. She spent countless hours in the kitchen preparing dinner for anyone who could attend, and often anyone stopping by for a delicious home cooked meal.

In February, 2015, her great granddaughter was born. She loved being a “Nana” more than anything in the world.

Terry was one of a kind in so many ways. She will be missed on this Earth, but her legacy will live forever.

Survived by husband, Michael; daughter, Danielle (Mark) Pickard; son, Patrick Mazeika (Olisha Phillips); grandchildren, Anna (Patrick) Connors, Katie Mazeika, Jessica Pickard (Alec Ross), Liz Mazeika, and Nicholas Pickard; great granddaughter, Kaycee Adkins; sister, Cynthia Kraft; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no services.
