Yvonne E. Curate

Yvonne Curate, 78, died Wednesday 1-8-25 with family and friends by her side. She was born in Jamaica to Linton Curate and Daisy Hamilton, before moving to Toledo, Ohio. Yvonne worked as a talented Laboratory Technician for over 40 years at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Yvonne’s talents were many. She loved being a seamstress and enjoyed crafting, home improvement, cooking, and baking. Yvonne was loving, caring, giving, and will be truly missed by many.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Shawna, many siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. At Yvonne’s request, no service will be held, but family encourages everyone to celebrate the remarkable life of our cherished on in your own way.

In remembrance of Yvonne’s life, a memorial tribute can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
