Beverly Joan Snyder

Beverly Joan (Cameron) Snyder departed this life surrounded by family on Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was born at home to George and Mary Cameron and raised on a farm in Juniata County, Pennsylvania in 1934. She attended one year at Susquehanna University before marrying her love of 55 years, Thomas McQuade Snyder of Allentown, PA. Making a home in York, PA, daughters Lauren and Lizabeth were the focus and dedication of their lives. In 1998, Tom and Bev retired to Charleston, SC, where they lovingly doted on three grandchildren and enjoyed multiple family reunions at the beach with extended family members. After Tom’s passing, Bev moved to Yakima, WA in 2014 to be close to family where she made new friends through her sincere warmth and connection with others and continued to enjoy grandkids, PEO meetings, church, and the Friday “lunch bunch.” She will be dearly missed by daughter Lauren Hohman and son-in-law Eric Hohman of Yakima, WA, daughter Lizabeth Jenkins-Dale and son-in-law Jeffrey Dale of Columbus, NC, grandson Benjamin Hohman of Boulder, CO, granddaughter Andrea Hohman of Washington, DC, granddaughter Cameron Jenkins and fiancé Nick LaCross of Rock Hill, SC, and sister Connie Benner of Mifflintown, PA. A plethora of friends across the country will miss Bev’s sweet, genuine care and concern for them. Beverly was predeceased by her older brother George Cameron of Yeagerstown, PA. At her request, no service is planned.
