

Billy Dale Clark, age 78, died Wednesday March 28th, 2012 in Yakima, Washington surrounded by his family. He was born in Forsyth, MO to William Gordon Clark and Virginia Elizabeth (Davidson) Clark on August 17th 1933.
Billy moved to Washington at an early age, was raised in Selah and graduated from Yakima High School in 1951. Shortly after high school, Billy started his Trucking/Logging business, BD Clark and Sons. He was in the logging business for approximately 47 years with his CB handle known as "Ol Blue." He retired from the trucking industry at the age of 65.
In September of 1954, Billy married Mary Helen Dallas and started his family in August of 1956. During Billy's early years he enjoyed elk hunting with his family and friends. Later in life he liked to go snowmobiling, traveling to Alaska to watch the polar bears and attending and watching NASCAR races. His truck Ol' Blackie (a 1978 Ford Pick-up) will miss his daily trips to town.
Billy was a person who worked hard and taught his children to have a good work ethic. Billy is survived by his wife, Mary H. Clark of Selah, two sons, Vince (Judy) Clark of Selah and Verlin (Mary) Clark of Yakima; three daughters, Vikki (Mike) Clark of Selah, Velvet Bunyard of Selah and Vanessa (Lonnie) Mitchell of Yakima and one brother, John (Pat) Clark of Selah. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Memorial Hospital for their compassinate care.
Visitation will be held at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home on Sunday April 1st 2012 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Monday April 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at West Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are encouraged to meet at the cemetery.
