Bobbie Louise Frazier was born November 16, 1934 in Henryetta, Oklahoma and passed away on October 19, 2017. Bobbie was born in the midst of the Great Depression when most everyone traveled to find any work to keep their family together and strong. Her family found their way to Washington State as other family members and friends had before them. They worked in the fields and traveled as needed until her father could put his carpentry and general fix-it skills to good use and was able to put together a household and roots in their new state. Bobbie had two brothers and they had a gangly friend with a horse named Pepper and they fell in love (not the horse). Ralph Frazier and Bobbie Louise Eslick were married on Groundhog Day Feb. 2, 1952. We are not aware of any special significance of getting married on Groundhog Day but it sure made it easy to remember when their anniversary was.
Ralph was in the Air Force and they moved from base to base including stays in Louisiana, Montana, Washington State, Hawaii and Texas. After leaving the service, the family moved back to Washington State for good in 1963. Both sets of their parents were there and opportunities were good. Both Bobbie and Ralph worked hard to create a great home for their family. Bobbie worked several jobs and finally went to work as a packer with a local fruit warehouse and stayed there many years, finally retiring in 2001.
Mom was the cornerstone of the family. She held a Sunday dinner almost every week as long as everyone can remember. It was something that everyone could truly count on and it didn’t matter if more people showed up than planned as she would simply make it work. For several years she and Ralph cared for their four nephews which made for a huge family in a small house. She was truly devoted to her kids and then grandkids and loved them with great soul.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter Lola Worden (Larry), sons Alan Frazier (Cherokee) and Bruce Frazier (Glenda); also her granddaughters, Autumn, Chanté, Lexa, and Jolie, her grandson Tyler, nephews Jamie, Mike, Leon, Dominic and many other family members. Bobbie was preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph Frazier, her parents Albert and Dulvia Eslick, her brothers William Eslick and Don Eslick, her son Ralph Frazier, Jr. and her granddaughter Amber Frazier.
We fervently believe there is great rejoicing that they all can see each other again in the next world.
Viewing will be Friday, October 27, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, and services will conclude at Naches Cemetery.
