

The family moved to Albuquerque, NM when Debi was young. Debi met and married Harry Folkman while in Albuquerque; they were married on May 19, 1983. They moved to Washington and the Yakima area in 1990. Debi worked for several years as a fruit packer in a Yakima area warehouse.
She enjoyed the outdoors, the mountains and camping. Honey Dew was her constant companion she followed Debi everywhere and would always wait for her to set down so she could curl up on Debi’s lap. Debi loved sewing, all of her pets and was artistic in her own way. She will be missed by family, friends and acquaintances
Debi is survived by her husband, Harry W. Folkman of Yakima; son, Kevin (Trinette) Markey of Nampa, ID; mother, Colleen Simmons of Kingman, AR; three grandchildren, Erik, Erin and Italia and a niece, Saray Simmons; aunt, Barbara Hopkins.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Scott Simmons.
A Celebration of Debra’s life is being planned for a later date.
