He is survived by his wife Carol and his two children, Kenny Baughman and Donna Morris; five Grandchildren, Aaron Baughman, Whitney Baughman, Haley Baughman, David (and Shelby) Morris and Sara (and Bryson) DuPree (Morris); and two great-grandchildren, Elijah Baughman and Wesley Morris. Don had seven siblings and is survived by his brothers Hollis, Loss (of Yakima), and Rick “Hoyt” of Harrison Arkansas.
Don married Carol Kelley on February 13th, 1961 in Yellville, AR. They moved to Washington state that same year to work in the fruit orchards and warehouses. He farmed an apple orchard near Tieton, WA. Don and Carol lived in Cowiche, Tieton, and West Valley Washington.
In 1967 Don became a preacher and evangelist. He was a talented singer/songwriter and musician and played acoustic guitar and piano. In 1977, he began to pastor at Bethel Community church on Naches Heights faithfully for almost 45 years. Countless lives have been blessed by his life and ministry.
We love him and miss him. It was an honor to know him and to be a part of his life. His friends and family look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.
The funeral will be held at Keith and Keith Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 1st at 12:00pm. His burial will be at West Hills Memorial Park.
