

Douglas Earl Oswalt, passed away in his home on January 13, 2023. Doug was born on April 6, 1968 in Yakima, WA. Doug attended McClure Elementry, West Valley HS, and Davis HS. After school he enlisted in the Navy and became a Navy Seal. While in the Navy Doug became a father to twin girls, Kay and Shae. Right before the girls were born Doug was injured in a diving accident and received a medical discharge.
After the Navy he attended YVC and Perry Technical School. He then moved to Renton WA working for Borton Chemical. While working for Borton Chemical he received his Masters degree. Doug moved back to Yakima going back to Perry Technical this time as an instructor teaching Instrumentation.
Doug has life long friends Ron McDougall, Jay Lemieux, and Jason Laurvick. There are many stories to tell but most are not printable.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Bonnie Oswalt, Grandparents Lloyd and Maxine Crowell, Elmer and Viola Oswalt, and Uncle Melvin Oswalt. Doug is survived by his daughters Kay and Shae. Grandchildren Levi, William, and Kimberlee. His Aunts Norma Cyr (Jin), Phyllis Crowell, Pam Linder, and Uncle Larry Oswalt. His Dogs and his best friends.
Graveside service Friday, February 10, 2022 at 1pm West Hills Memorial Park.
