Fern Louise Underwood

Early in her life, the family moved to Washington. Fern married Donald Ray Underwood in Yakima, WA. on October 24, 1964. Fern enjoyed participating on the YVCC tennis team, performing in a traveling gospel band with her sisters and friends, and attending family reunions.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Julie Moss, sister, Jean Duckworth, and her parents. Left to honor and remember her are daughter, Joy Shoemake, of Richland, WA., son, Jeremy Underwood (wife Carrie), of Phoenix, AZ., siblings, Gale Curtis (wife Alice), of Yakima, WA., Forrest Curtis (wife Heather), of Olympia, WA., Faye Johnson (husband David), of Centralia, WA., Terri Weron (husband Del), of Gig Harbor, WA., six grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, as well as her brother-in-law, Lloyd Duckworth (wife Madaline), of Yakima, WA.
