She was a lifetime member in the VFW. In her own words, she always said “I rather dance than eat”, and boy she was a dancer, and she was a sun bunny too, she loved the sun. She was also a social butterfly she knew almost everyone and if she didn’t, she would approach you. She was a die-hard Seahawks fan she would never miss a game unless she wasn’t able to get it on her TV, then she would call everyone to find out the score. She worked as a meat wrapper mainly in Yakima and Seattle WA for over 40 years. After she retired was a care provider at Homecare.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Edna Johnson, husband Burt Smith, oldest son Woody Smith and great grandson Heath McGary.
She is survived by her sister Dorothy Wakefield, daughter Pauline Pallas, Paulette (Pattie) Cunningham, Cheryl Hogrefe, and Sharman Erickson, and two sons Terry and James (Jim) Smith, 9 grand-children and 11 great grand-children.
