Frank was born in Eagle Pass, TX on July 24 ,1945 to Juan & Petra Bastardo.
Before retiring Frank had been self-employed as a roofing contractor in Lubbock, TX. Frank enjoyed fishing, family BBQ’s, and was a longtime fan of the “Raiders.” He always had an ear to listen when a niece or nephew needed someone to talk to. Everyone that got to know Frank always walked away saying “What a good man.” He met his wife Esther in December of 1976. They married on June 24, 1978. The love they had was everlasting; there was nothing that ever came between them. They both felt they had found their “soul mate.”
Frank is survived by his wife Esther & his pet “Lola”, sons Anthony Chavez and Daniel Bastardo of San Jose, CA, 3 brothers, Robert (Martha) Bastardo of Mule Shoe, TX; Manuel (Delores) Bastardo of Pueblo, CO and Eddie (Martha) Bastardo of Amarillo, TX, 3 sisters, Olga ( Andrew) Deanda of Lubbock, TX, Yolanda (Tom) Olivares of Houston, TX, and Norma Valdez of Dallas, TX, and his extended Urvina family of Yakima, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Juan Bastardo Jr., and his in-laws Louis & Cipriana Urvina.
