Jim Kinzel died suddenly at his home in the early hours of March 16th at the age of 56. He was born in Yakima on Nov 16, 1954 to Arthur and Janet Kinzel. He attended Davis High school and was a stand-out in both basketball and baseball. He was frequently a starting pitcher for the Yakima Beetles during this time. After high school he attended Shoreline CC and then returned to Yakima to pursue an Electrician Degree at Perry Tech. It was at this time that he married Laura Miller. Upon recieving his degree they relocated to the N. Seattle area where Jim found work at Todd Shipyard. Jim and Laura had 2 sons and took pride in all their accomplishments. In 1991, Jim moved back to Yakima and worked various places. In 2002 he married Sue Bjur and was a loving and devoted husband. He was humorous and his story-telling never had the same ending. Jim enjoyed holiday get together's at the family home, going to garage sales and movies. He was looking forward to being a first time grandfather in May. Your time on earth was cut too short, but God put his arms around you and whispered "Come with Me."
