Janet D. Cunningham, of Yakima WA, was met by Angels on Tuesday April
8th, 2014. She was 76. She was born on 10/16/1937 in Des Moines Iowa to
Harold and Luverne Williams. She is survived by three children; Brenda (Steve) Lowe
of Richland WA, James (Kandas) Goodman of Fort Lauderdale FL, and Kimberly
(Billy) Fetzer of Yakima WA. She was blessed by six grandchildren; Rachael, Ryan,
SummerLynn, Shaye, Lilly, and Charly, and also two great-grandsons. She made a
career in Banking for many years, and later as an apartment Manager in the
Seattle area.
She was a hard, determined working Lady, making many friends in
many years. She most recently lived at The Ponderosa Assisted Living Center in
Yakima, and was completely blessed by an extended family of caregivers and
friends that grew to love her very much. She was a loving grandmother and
enjoyed many lasting memories of each of her grandchildren. She was a mother
with a full heart, passing on attributes of preservation and genuine caring for
family. She was a woman who often had little, but with her smile and personality
gave much to others.
After a brief difficult illness and struggle, she is now at peace
without suffering or pain, and is enjoying everlasting comfort. A VERY special deep
hearted THANKS, to All staff at Memorial Hospital ICU, and to staff at the Cottage in
the Meadow. Each one of you were a dedicated Godsend in a great time of
affliction. Please know your efforts were GREAT, and especially felt by her Family.
