Janet Lee (Clausing) Clark

In 1957 Janet married John Logan Clark. In 1964 they purchased the farm on Wiley Road where she would live in for the next 54 years. They were blessed with the birth of son: Johnny, daughters: Suzanne (Suzy) and Laura.

Janet worked at many businesses including: Del Monte, Borton Fruit and for over 20 years at PLSA Engineering and Surveying until her retirement in December, 2017.

Janet’s constant chatter, fierce independence, spread of food, girl time road trips, lunch out on the town, her snack drawer and her assistance of various kinds will be missed by all.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and more recently our Dad, John in 2017. She is survived by her brothers: Doug (Barb) Clausing and Ted (Debbie) Clausing; her children: Johnny (Patti) Clark, Suzy (Mike) Snyder and Laura (Tyler) Wortman; her beloved grandchildren: Shelby (Jeff) Fisher, Logan Clark, Alex Wortman and Peyton Clark; special friends: Loretta Findel and Lyne Adams.

Janet’s memorial service will be at the Wiley Union Church, located at the corner of Ahtanum and Wiley roads in Yakima, WA on February 23, 2019 at 11:00 am.

Dinner will be provided by Wiley Union Church Women’s Ministry following the service.
