Joe Maxwell

Joe L. Maxwell passed January 16, 2011at the unseasoned age of 51, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. He had close friends and family nearby and went peacefully.

Joe was born on December 4, 1959 to Carl and Helen Maxwell and oh boy were they in for the ride of their life! Joe loved his fast cars growing up and always went talking about trees and telephone poles jumping out of no where. He attended the Naches Valley School District. As he grew up snowmobiling, hunting, golfing, fishing, and being around family is what he loved. Through out his years Joe made a career and passion of being a father, a mentor, a coach, a member of NACE, and a Manager of Corrosion Control for Cascade Natural Gas and in March of '08 he was awarded the Einstein Award. He married Juanita in Oct 1989, she gifted him with two healthy babies, Steven Joseph and Jennifer Shawnteal. He is truly loved and will be terribly missed.

He is survive by his wife, Juanita Maxwell of Yakima; dauther Jennifer S. Maxwell of Vancouver, WA, son Steven J. Maxwell of Yakima; two brothers, Glenn Maxwell of Yakima and Kenneth (Evelyn) Maxwell of Selah and a sister, Cyndy (Rob) Zable of Graham, WA.
