Jody J. “Jody” Laurent, passed away peacefully at home February 14,2010, surrounded by family. She was born February 8, 1958 in Lewiston, Idaho to Leland and Lucile (Bosley) Lee. She worked as a Certified nursing assistant at Yakima Convalescent. Most recently she managed the Silver Eagle Motel.
Jody enjoyed working with people and would give whatever she had to those in need. Everyone she met she considered a friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and found great joy in her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephew.
Jody is survived by her sons Nicholas(Tia), Douglas, and Thomas all of Yakima, and William of Cookville, TN. 2 grandchildren Nicholas Jr. and Samantha Laurent of Yakima. Her mother Lucile Lee of Port Angeles, WA. Sister Nancy(Bryce) Wilson of Yakima and brother Douglas (Trina) Lee of Rainier, WA. Former husband Jim Laurent of Yakima, and many nieces and nephews.
Jody was preceded in death by her father Leland Lee and former father-in¬-law James Laurent.
A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
