He was born in Yakima June 25, 1954 to Ted and Elizabeth Carrell. He attended Yakima schools and graduated from Eisenhower High in 1972.
He worked as a truck driver and belonged to the local teamster union.
Johnny enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating.
He is survived by his parents, his two daughtes Jacki and Jodi Carrell, who were the light of his life, his two sisters and their husbands, Deborah and Don Bailey, and Marjorie and Curt Sloon, three nieces and one nephew.
A funeral service will be held Monday May 14, 2012, at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.
